Testosterone Cypionate
Each ml of Testosterone Cypionate contains Testosterone Cypionate 200mg in oily base. Each box contains 10 ampoules of 1ml/200mg Testosterone Cypionate.
Testosterone Cypionate is a long-acting ester of testosterone and is one of the most established injectable testosterone compounds. It was developed to provide a prolonged release of testosterone following intramuscular administration. Compared with shorter-acting testosterone esters, Testosterone Cypionate remains active for a considerably longer period, allowing more stable testosterone concentrations over time.
Testosterone Cypionate is a pure testosterone compound. The testosterone molecule is attached to the cypionate ester, which delays its release from the injection site and extends its activity in the body. Once released, the ester is cleaved and the resulting testosterone is biologically identical to naturally produced testosterone.
As a testosterone ester, Testosterone Cypionate has both androgenic and anabolic properties. Testosterone plays an important physiological role in the development and maintenance of male reproductive tissues, muscle mass, bone density, red blood cell production and secondary sexual characteristics.
On a functional basis, Testosterone Cypionate is commonly used medically for testosterone replacement in appropriately diagnosed male patients with testosterone deficiency. Because of its relatively long duration of action, it can provide more sustained testosterone exposure than short-acting esters such as Testosterone Propionate. Treatment should always be based on medical assessment, laboratory testing and continued clinical monitoring.
Testosterone Cypionate has also been misused outside medical settings for physique or performance enhancement. Such use can expose the user to significant hormonal, cardiovascular, reproductive and psychological risks and should not be considered a substitute for medically supervised treatment.
Side effects
Testosterone Cypionate is generally well tolerated when appropriately prescribed and medically monitored, but side effects may occur. Possible androgenic effects include acne, oily skin, increased body or facial hair and acceleration of male-pattern hair loss in genetically susceptible individuals.
Testosterone can also be converted to estrogen through the aromatase enzyme. Increased estrogenic activity may contribute to water retention, breast tenderness or gynecomastia in susceptible individuals. Testosterone therapy may increase red blood cell production and hematocrit, which requires periodic monitoring.
Other possible effects include changes in cholesterol levels, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, suppression of natural testosterone production, reduced sperm production and impaired fertility. Mood changes, worsening of sleep apnea and prostate-related symptoms may also occur in some individuals.
Medical monitoring may include testosterone levels, hematocrit or hemoglobin, blood pressure, lipid profile and other laboratory parameters depending on the individual patient.
Warning
Consult with a physician prior to, during and after use if you are taking any prescription medication or have any medical condition.
Testosterone Cypionate should only be used under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional when medically indicated. Tell your physician if you have or have previously had cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, diabetes, sleep apnea, blood-clotting disorders or prostate problems.
Testosterone products should not be used in patients with known or suspected carcinoma of the prostate or male breast unless specifically directed by an appropriate specialist. Testosterone may suppress sperm production and may affect fertility.
Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant or are breastfeeding should not use Testosterone Cypionate unless specifically prescribed by a qualified specialist. Exposure during pregnancy may cause harm to the developing fetus.
Seek urgent medical attention if you experience symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe headache, sudden weakness, significant swelling or other serious or unexpected reactions.
Use this product with caution if you have a history of cold sores or are taking medication for high blood pressure, heart disease or erectile dysfunction. Before beginning any program involving prescription testosterone, consult your healthcare practitioner.
